Fishers Tech Park Adds 2,000 Jobs to Hamilton County Economy

FISHERS, IN — The Fishers Technology Park has reached a major milestone, officially adding its 2,000th job to Hamilton County's growing economy as three new companies prepare to open operations along the 116th Street corridor.

The achievement comes as software development firm TechFlow Solutions, cybersecurity company SecureNet Indiana, and data analytics startup Midwest Intelligence prepare to move into newly constructed facilities within the 400-acre technology campus. The three companies are expected to bring a combined 350 new positions to the area over the next 18 months, with starting salaries ranging from $55,000 to $120,000 annually.

"This represents exactly the kind of high-tech, high-wage growth we envisioned when we first broke ground on the Technology Park in 2018," said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning. "These aren't just jobs – they're career opportunities that will keep our brightest minds right here in Hamilton County while attracting top talent from across the Midwest."

The Technology Park, located between Interstate 69 and Allisonville Road just north of 116th Street, has become a cornerstone of Fishers' economic development strategy. The campus now houses 47 companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to emerging startups, with a focus on software development, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, and financial technology.

TechFlow Solutions, which specializes in custom software development for healthcare systems, will occupy a 45,000-square-foot facility and plans to hire 150 employees over the next year. The company relocated from cramped offices in downtown Indianapolis, citing the Technology Park's modern infrastructure and proximity to talent from nearby universities.

"The fiber optic network, the collaborative environment, and frankly the parking situation made this an easy decision," said Jennifer Martinez, TechFlow's Chief Operating Officer. "We're already seeing increased interest from job candidates who want to work in this kind of forward-thinking environment. The Technology Park has really become the Silicon Valley of central Indiana."

The economic impact extends beyond the Technology Park's borders. Local restaurants along 116th Street and in the nearby Fishers District have reported increased lunch traffic, while the Hampton Inn & Suites on Corporate Drive has seen a 15% uptick in business travelers visiting the tech companies.

Hamilton County officials estimate the 2,000 jobs represent approximately $140 million in annual wages, generating significant tax revenue for local schools and infrastructure improvements. The Technology Park's success has also spurred residential development, with three new apartment complexes and two housing subdivisions under construction within a two-mile radius.

City planners project the Technology Park will reach its capacity of 3,500 jobs by 2027, with discussions already underway for a potential expansion east toward Allisonville Road. The Fishers City Council is scheduled to review preliminary expansion plans during their November 15 meeting at City Hall.
